Apple users need a way to write to their OS address book. It seems bug 391057 is difficult to fix and will thus take a looong time to fix. This bug proposes as simple-to-implement solution that could solve the problem today. I don't use a Mac (my sister does), so I'll refrain from suggesting a UI. Reproducible: Always

Using the context menu from an address book entry this one should also automatically be shown. Overall it would be a nice workaround for now.
