RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 477605

Details

I just lost two new bugs I was filling out because I installed an extension and restarted. I can reproduce on the same profile (new bug, type anything in, quit and reopen, fields are blank), but I haven't yet tried to repro on a new profile--I will do so soon. Possible related data: * I have a page with http auth, so on browser start I get pulled to that tab where I need to click OK to the modal dialog that comes up. * I have another tab with JS that throws a couple of exceptions, which end up as alert modal dialogs as well.
I've closed the two tabs that were pulling me around at startup (http auth and the js alerts), and the problem still happens.
What value is browser.sessionstore.privacy_level set to? For the default value of 1, what you describe is actually the expected behavior (for your privacy, https forms which could potentially contain credit card data, etc. aren't preserved).
