Our next 3.4 release will be 3.4rc1, and we're pretty close to it--just a few blockers remain, most of which are awaiting review. I also see a few bug fixes on the 3.2 branch, so that would be worth a release. I don't see anything too significant on the 3.0 branch, so we don't need a release there.

I'm not going to do a Status Update this time, and I'm just going to write a blog about it, I think.

Okay, we're ready to release, so I'm going to start working on the website updates and so forth.

Now that I have a script that generates most of the website content for updates, instead of doing separate bugs for everything, I'm just going to post a single patch here for the whole web site update. The only thing this doesn't include is the release note pages, because those are just a copy of the release notes that already exist in the branches.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, the current patch is live on http://www-stage.bugzilla.org/

I might create a separate wordpress.com blog just for this, we'll see.

Okay, the tarballs are showing up as downloadable, so I've updated the website. Here are the web site updates that I just checked in, including every change I made (including to the website-generation and tagging scripts, and the release notes and sec adv).

The website updates are now visible, so I've posted the status update on my blog, sent out the security advisory, and sent out the release announcement. LpSolit has updated bugzilla-update.xml. I still need to update FreshMeat and do the other post-release stuff (like bump the version numbers), but I've been awake all night doing this and right now I'm going to sleep. :-)
