back to mozilla the menubar only shows
a help menu.

Yep. As described, the menu is effectively removed when the last application
window (browser, mailnews, composer ...) is closed, either with the close box
or File->Close. Reproduced on 9.0 and 8.6.1 with today's build. Nom. nsbeta3

If you treat me really nice I'll share the fix I have for this sitting in my tree.
It isn't pretty, just an Eric Cartman hit it over the head with a big stick
approach. But it has the distinct advantage of working and being relatively safe
from horkage sitting in the nsMenuBar file.
Not sure why exactly this stopped working to begin with.

Thanks again gsa@myrealbox.com. I also see this in the trunk 10/20 build.
But, to be clear, DOES NOT OCCUR in 2000102008 MN6 branch Mozilla or Netscape
builds.

I don't see this in 101608 or 101808 trunk Mac builds. So that's a window
for saari to check for the change (and find out who undid his "Eric Cartman hit
it over the head with a big stick approach".)
