Have a few folders Go to one folder change state to View threads with unread. GO to another folder GO back to the folder - view is set to view all.
Confirming on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1pre) Gecko/20090613 Lightning/1.0pre Shredder/3.0b3pre
Same here on linux. OS could go to all...

Fixed by the fix for bug 497279.
