Details

The number of dupes bug 456405 has indicates people are having trouble finding this pref to change it. It would also be good to know if the default is different depending on OS, bug 499587 and bug 498922 indicate Mac OSX might have it as false by default (but they aren't responding when asked about the pref). This might need a screencast to better explain what happens in each setting.

Renamed. "last tab" may be interpreted as the right-most tab. If there are better ways to put it than "Closing the only tab", now is the time to suggest it.
