NEW Profile:Save as Drafts/Templates on server is not working unless users created those folders manually Used 08-23-14-M18 commercial build I know there is bug 23625 described that the IMAP server account should default copy & folder to server, but without this fix, users won't allow to specify those special folders on the server.... 1) Created a NEW profile with IMAP mail account (make sure on this IMAP mail account without drafts & templates folders initially) 2) Tried to change Copy and Folder Settings to server for draft & template folder. 3) Actual Results: There are no way to setup to Drafts and Templates on the server, users need to "create new folder" manually for those fodlers in order to specify to save draft & template on the server. Expected results: Should allow users to specify the Templates & Drafts on server from the Copy & Folder Setting without create those folders manually

Unless we fix 23625, we can't fix this. And I don't think we're going to fix 23625, unfortunately.

I agree - this is alot of work to make what we want happen in the UI.. I'm futuring on expectation of nsbeta3- updating the summary to something a little more concise

This is taken care of now with the fix checked in for bug 23625. In the Copies and Folders UI, you have optin to select special folder on any server of your choice. Please look at the screenshots posted in bug 23625 to find out the way you can do this. Marking Fixed.
