build 20000508/Linux I added a handler for audio/mpeg mime types with the extension mp3. I later wanted to add mp2 to the list and found that there is no way to modify the extension list under prefs->helper apps->Edit... I think the extension(s) should appear in a edit-enabled text box so that the extension can be modified and/or other extensions added.

Confirmed with 2000-09-12-12 on Linux.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
This works the same way as it does in 4.0. We should make this a request for enhancement.

oops, slight error --was testing using 4.72 [not that that would make a difference --unless there was a change btwn that and 4.76...would need to check later on, when i have access to that more recent version.]
