Take a look at the attached screenshot: there are wrong message number and complete percent when indexing IMAP All Mail folder in TB statusbar.
Reproducible: Always
A similar issue is reported in bug 514386, when downloading messages the indicated target message count is too low as well. Does this apply to Gmail's "All Mail" folder only or do you see this in other folders as well?

I notices this on a Gmail "All mail". Never seen this before on any other folder.
Ok, this may be a Gmail bug then if it only occurs with them and only in a specific folder, or something special with them triggering a bug in TB.

I'm unable to reproduce this with either current Thunderbird 3.0b4pre nor SeaMonkey 2.0pre nightly builds on Windows XP. The target message count is correct in the status bar, regardless of whether I initiate rebuilding the index of "All Mail" when having that folder selected nor with a different folder in focus. I don't have offline synchronization enabled.

If there is a chance of this bug to be related to Smart Folders management? The screenshot was created in Smart Folders view mode.

Valery, do you see this with beta 4, or a current trunk build?

Yes, I saw this once again with current nightlies when indexing messages after re-creating the Gmail IMAP account. It seems only All messages folder is affected. So - this _may_ be a Gmail bug, but I'm not sure how to check this, as I'm not using Gmail for several days.
Yeah, I'm having the same issue, see here:

I'm pretty sure that there is a duplicate , but can find it. Gloda show indexing x out of m where X>m.

This is harmless. This can occur in situations when new headers are added to a folder after we have already counted the number of messages we need to index.
I have a fix in my active patch that resolves this by just increasing the number of expected messages so it becomes impossible to exceed 100%.
