Open the currents windows to create new or edit a Contact and Mailing List in tabs.
The new tab to create/edit a Mailing List can have the same sidebar like the Message Compose with the Contacts list and search, with double-click over a contact to add it to the list.

This feature would be a great enhancement for organzing contacts simpler.
I have a problem with organizing contacts if I just can open one contact at the same time.
It would be great if this feature could be implemented.

The addon Contact Tabs (https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-GB/thunderbird/addon/contact-tabs/) implemented something very similar but it is broken by TB68.

I closed this because of the changes at Thunderbird 102 includes an address book in tab plus other changes to navigate contacts.
