User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Build Identifier: All I cannot believe there isn't already a bug request for this... The Summary says it all... the Addressbook Quicksearch should search on the Organization name field in addition to the persons name and email fields. Or, at a bare minimum, we should be able to change the fields Quicksearch will use, just like we can in the main Mail window, but honestly, the Organization name is really the only other field that would make sense to add to the Quicksearch, and in my opinion, there is no reason it should be omitted. I have looked everywhere, and haven't had any luck finding an extension or anything that corrects this oversight (adds the Organization name to the Quicksearch capabilities). I was hoping TB3 would do so, but b4 still works the exact same way. We have a Vendors Address Book, and we need to be able to quickly search on the Organizations name, and currently this is not possible, but it only makes sense that it should be. Currently, we either have to: 1. open the Advanced Find window, change the field to search on to Organization (since it defaults every time to 'Any Name', and Organization name isn't included in this search), or, 2. sort by Org name, and manually scan the records to find the one we need. The bottom line is, both of these options suck. I cannot imagine that this would be difficult to do, and I sincerely hope one of the devs who has the power to fix this will agree. Thanks for all your hard work guys, it is much appreciated! Reproducible: Always
