I've noticed my bookmarks not showing up across my clients, and right clicking on the weave icon tells me the last update happened weeks ago. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm attaching a log from one of the clients, although they all appear to be failing. Using nightlies with Weave 0.7.

Seems like you're able to log in, so the passphrase matches the keys on the server, but somehow you have some otherly-encrypted data on the server as well. What if you do this in Error Console then sync ~10 seconds later? Components.utils.import("resource://weave/service.js");Weave.Service.wipeServer()
That says it wiped everything on the server and started over. It took long enough to sync that I got an unresponsive script popup. However; it did fix the problem and I'm syncing again.
Flags: blocking-weave1.0+
I experienced the same problems myself - sync did nothing - no activity in the activity log, manual sync stuck on the "initialising sync engine" stage. I believe since the upgrade to 0.7 FF 3.5.3 on Ubuntu Jaunty Doing the wipeServer line above solved the issue.

we really need to figure this out. Phil/Wil, how long have you been using Weave? Have you ever changed your passphrases?

User of weave for ~6 months In that time I would have changed my passphrase but only at the very beginning of my use. I haven't seen this problem again since my first comment. I don't have much else I can add :-\
I was using weave for probably about the same time and I did not change passphrases. I can't reproduce since comment 3.
moving beta blockers to block 1.0 beta
Target Milestone: 0.8 → 1.0 beta
Were you using Weave with multiple platforms? Perhaps mobile maemo/wince ones?
(In reply to comment #9) > Were you using Weave with multiple platforms? Perhaps mobile maemo/wince ones? I was using linux and os x
> Were you using Weave with multiple platforms? Perhaps mobile maemo/wince ones? Ubuntu, Windows XP and Windows Vista here
Per triage earlier, moving this out to 1.0, to see if a clean server state prevents this recurring.
