If I try to migrate my existing profile from TB 2.0.0.23 to the latest 3.0pre nightly (the same problem occurs with 3.0b4) the prefs window is blank, i.e. a window of the right size but without any control in it. Moreover, TB keeps asking me my signature certificate password at every startup altough this didn't happen with TB 2.x I experienced this problem during the last testday and reported it to _Tsk_. I also did a zip file containing the bad profile for him to try, but the problem didn't show up on his Mac, so it's probably a linux specific problem. I can confirm that for 3.0b4 under Ubuntu 9.10/32bit (installed into and running from a user-owned directory)

Unfortunately, no. I should also add that the confirmation of this bug is for my own migrated profile, not the one attached to this bug description.

do we know if this also breaks for 2.x to 3.1.x?
