Prerequisites for reproducing: 1) Junk controls are enabled 2) Junk settings are set to leave the message in the same folder, and only add the junk icon to it (don't move it to the Junk folder) Steps to reproduce: 1) Open a message that's marked as Junk in the standalone message window. 2) Click the "Not Junk" button in the green "Shredder things this message is junk" bar at the top of the message. Actual results: 1) The junk icon goes away in the subject summary listing 2) The green bar at the top of the message in the message window does *not* go away, and the button still reads "Not Junk". If you happened to have the summary window covered so you couldn't see the icon there, you would think the Not Junk button didn't work. Expected results: 1) The junk icon goes away in the subject summary listing 2) The green bar at the top of the message itself goes away.

justdave, this is a regression?

When trying to replicate this, I noticed that the green bar went away in the 3-pane when I clicked the "Not Junk" button in the standalone window.

Yeah, it's a regression. It's been this way for a while, though, I didn't file immediately because there were other major changes around then, and it looked obvious so I thought someone would catch it at the time. :( So the regression window is probably a month or two back. I think it was around the time the new fancy indexed search stuff landed, but I'm not positive. But I guess a lot of the devs don't use the standalone message window.

Seems to happen also in Windows version of Mozilla Thunderbird. Using Mozilla Thunderbird 3.0 RC1.

Confirmed in 3.1/Mac, and it works properly in 2.0. Also, marking Not Junk used to (and should again) load any images which weren't loaded because of Junk suspicion.

...corrected title to reflect color of bar in windows and also updated platforms this happens in. Hope this makes it easier for people to find it.

Any work done on this one, or has it been forgotten?
