I tried under multiple versions of Firefox, make XMLHttpRequest requests from local files but this does not work.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Make an html file with XMLHttpRequest
2.Run it on Firefox
3.
Actual Results:
It doesn't work
Expected Results:

Créez un gestionnaire de profils de sites dans lequel le client pourra paramétrer les options qu'il désire activer ou non, telles que la définition d'un dossier lié au site ou au moins pour des fichiers de scripts locaux dans lequel il serait possible d'écrire et de lire des fichiers.

This looks to be a duplicate of 424875. Other related bugs appear to Bug 503095 and Bug 465397. If one of these or another all together are a better match let us know.
