User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0
The address book that comes with OSX can now be seen inside Thunderbird and used for sending email. But no addresses saved from within Thunderbird (ex: an InBox sender not currently listed) can be saved to the OSX address book. All saved addresses default to the Thunderbird address book.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Choose to copy an email address from an incoming message
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Address is saved to the Thunderbird address book.
Expected Results:
The user should be given a choice of where to save new addresses.
After the ability to write to the OSX address book is fixed might be an option to have a checkbox in Preferences/Composition on where to save new addresses.
