When I download the nightly build and unpack it as root in a nightly script, a
non-root user cannot run mozilla properly before root has done so.
When the non-root user runs mozilla it stops before the line
Setting content window
Mozilla does not stop and has to be ctrl-c'd or killed.
When root runs mozilla a diff on a has-run and has-not-run directory of the same
build gives:
Only in mozilla/chrome: all-locales.rdf
Only in mozilla/chrome: all-packages.rdf
Only in mozilla/chrome: all-skins.rdf
Only in mozilla/chrome: overlayinfo
Binary files mozilla/component.reg and package/component.reg differ
This seems strange, because I don't think stuff should be changed in this dir:
config stuff should go in the user dir.
There will be a relase-note about the phenomena. (overlayinfo is a directory btw.)
And this is a dup - of mostfreq bug 42184 "Mozilla-bin must not write to bin dir
during installation"
