Details
Running Minefield I frequently find myself running a nightly that is about a week old with an update downloaded from, say, 6 days ago. As far as I can tell the only way to get up to date is to apply the stale update and then download a fresh update. This requires two restarts which with multiple windows/tabs does not seem very efficient.
I suggest the addition of a 'look for a newer update' option or similar.
It would also be useful if the update dialogue showed current and future version numbers...
(If there's an extant method of doing this with one restart then I'll gladly mark this ->INVALID... please feel free to educate me!)

thanks for pointer to correct component... missed that
potentially dupe of Bug 431779 though that is stated slightly differently and is quite stale - I'll leave it to someone wiser than me to dupe or not.
