Currently test-agent talos gets its initial timestamp from the host, then its subsequent timestamp(s) from device. Any amount of clock skew can result in huge inaccuracies in timing, including negative timings. Our discussed solution was to add a 'date' or 'time' command to the test-agent.exe, which would return a parsable timestamp, which test-agent talos could call immediately before running run-tests.py. This is known; filing the bug for tracking.
