Running related litmus test (see URL field), I can't undo change on my action setting for attachment-->content type. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.2pre) Gecko/20100302 Lightning/1.0b2pre Lanikai/3.1b1 ID:20100302141414
from https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=5495 Steps to Perform: In Preference (Linux/Sun)- Options (Windows), go to the Attachments category and fiddle with any of the following settings. Attachment Folder File Types Expected Results: Changes should take affect after clicking OK, unless otherwise noted. Canceling should not make any changes go into effect (again, unless noted by the UI).

Summary: Unable to undo action change in attachments options → Unable to cancel/undo action change in attachments options
Still broken on Win7/32bit and Thunderbird 17 (Earlybird). Changes to a file type take effect immediately. Steps to reproduce: 1. In Options (Windows), go to the Attachments category 2. Choose a file type and remember the current value in its combo box. 3. Select an option from the combo box, i.e. "Save File" 4. Press Cancel Actual Result: When going to Options, Attachments category, the combo box has the value "Save File". Expected Result: The combo box should have the previous value.

Saves are now immediate, and I don't think we will be returning to a UI that would allow undo.
