keyword.url search is not activated for strings that look like domain names. however i suggest that if the string is enclosed in quotation marks it would override the dns lookup and do the search
Not with the default Browse By Name search but if I set keyword.URL to a normal google search like http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&q= and type "cnn" it does a google search for CNN.
the problem is with strings containing . or : typing: ff3.7 resolves to a dns lookup i suggest that with quotes: "ff3.7" would instead do the keyword search
