No. Not so small number of bugs of complaint were opened for Tb 3.0, and, AFAIK, one of such bugs is accepted as valid enhancement request, and many of such bugs were already dup'ed to the enhancement request. Workarounds. (1) Use Tb2 for account definition. (2) Edit prefs.js, create an account, and restart Tb. - add accountN to mail.accountmanager.accounts - mail.account.accountN.server=serverX/identities=idP - mail.server.serverX.xxx copy other serverS.xxx of same server type to serverX.xxx, change hostname, username, directory-rel, ... - mail.identity.idP.xxx copy other idI.xxx You can use Account Settings panel without account wizard/auto-config, if you create above entries without inconsistency. (3) Click "Stop" as quickly as possible after start of auto-config, wait for stop of auto-config(many reports of "not stop immediately"...), never click Cancel(not so small number of report of "duped account after Cancel"...), and correctly set some mandatory fields, - server type: unable to change after definition. - server name/user name: to avoid problems due to bug 303542. (Other settings can be changed by Account Settings, without unwanted) (problem like bug 303542.) then click "Manual Setup". If you execute auto-config after change to "Work Offline" mode, I think auto-config stops immediately when you click "Stop" button.
