Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; de; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; de; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100227 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.3

Thunderbird runs all the day in the background at my computer but after a while it doesn't fetch new mail neither automatically nor manual by clicking "Get mail". When I try to fetch it manually by clicking "Get mail" I get an Message Box "This folder is being processed" (or similar, I use Thunderbird in German). The only thing I could do against is to restart Thunderbird.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Starting Thunderbird
2. Waiting some time (I didn't know, how long...)
3. Try to fetch new mail.
Actual Results:
You get an error message.

Expected Results:
Fetch new mail via POP3/IMAP like it's done if you restart.
When problem occurs again, try next, please.
(1) At Command Prompt. (see command help by "netstat /?")
      NETSTAT /n /b /o
How many TCP connections does Tb have?
(2) Go "Work Offline"(no need to download for offline mode),
then go back to "Work Online".
    Does manual Get Msgs work?

> Gecko/20100227 Lightning/1.0b1 Thunderbird/3.0.3

Can you reproduce your problem with -safe-mode and or new profile?

> Thunderbird runs all the day in the background at my computer (snip)

Sleep/wake-up or suspend/resume is involved in the "runs all the day"?
Do you use DHCP for your PC's IP address?
(1) Tb has only one connection
(2) No, it didn't changed anything.

Yes, suspend-to-disk/ram is involved and I use DHCP.
(In reply to comment #2)

It sounds same problem as Bug 466933.
O yes, I think so too
