It's only a placeholder for now. But it has to be solved for bug 562902.

Dave, does it also mean I have to wait for data from AMO to see the homepage link? This is very inconsistent for me between OS X and other platforms at the moment.

(In reply to comment #3) > Dave, does it also mean I have to wait for data from AMO to see the homepage > link? This is very inconsistent for me between OS X and other platforms at the > moment. It should take less than a day to get the additional data from AMO, regardless of the platform. But if you aren't running a build for more than 10 minutes then the data will never get downloaded.

(In reply to comment #4) > It should take less than a day to get the additional data from AMO, regardless > of the platform. But if you aren't running a build for more than 10 minutes > then the data will never get downloaded. Can't we fetch that information when an user has installed a new add-on or a timer is reached? I think it's important to have that information immediately available in the details pane. I would like to file a new bug on that. The current situation makes testing extremely hard.

We do fetch the information on a timer, that timer goes once a day along with the update check. You can file a bug to have it downloaded at install time if you like

Verified fixed with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b7pre) Gecko/20100922 Firefox/4.0b7pre by using Image and Flash Blocker.
