I had a message from "Jim Someone" with subject "Some subject".
Using "Jim some subject" faceted search finds the message, while integrated windows search does not.
Reproducible: Always
Actual Results:
Message not found.

Message found.

If the subject header is correctly in the saved message, I don't understand how Windows search succeeding would be Thunderbird's responsibility.
Was this a single message, or was the problem global?

What do you mean by "saved message"?
At the time, Thunderbird was offering some integration with Windows search, so it (=Windows search) was searching the messages inside Thunderbird. No idea if that feature and the Thunderbird integration into it still exists.
