Mozilla gives tall margins to text and images when it shouldn't be. This is a
little difficult for me to describe further, so let's do this by example:
http://www.gerbilbox.com/seele_template.html
ACTUAL RESULT
There is a tall margin between the text and the cell borders above and below.
EXPECTED RESULT
Those margins shouldn't be there, or at least should be much smaller.
I'll post some screen shots to compare this on different builds.
Sorry, forgot to mention that I'm using Windows 98 on Build 2000101508
Okay, my brain is not working right since I keep omit facts, it's been a long
day for me:
This bug only occurs if the DOCTYPE is XHTML.
Summary: Tall margins given to text and images when it shouldn't be → Tall margins given to text and images when it shouldn't be if DOCTYPE is XHTML
This doesn't sound like a high priority issue, at this stage of the project.
And, I don't think there are very many sites that are affected by this bug.
Please raise your concerns. Thanx

INVALID. The XHTML doctype is saying to use standard mode and so we do things
as per the standards. That is: we apply margins, and we apply the empty-inline
inline box model rules.

Can I see the W3C spec that defines this?
I'm not doubting the spec, but I just want to be assured that this is the case,
since using simple P tags in a table creates these weird margins, which just
does not look right to me.
