build 2000101421. when you go to an ftp-directory by typing url like ftp://site/dir/subdir, or open a directory in ftp by doubleclicking, you don't see the parent directories (or even a single parent directory entry) so going up in the directory structure is a little awkward. in cases like i described above, a preferred solution would be to always show the path to the root directory in the tree view to make things a bit more comfortable.. like this: - / - pub/ - linux/ - kernel/ even if you've gone straight to the kernel directory by typing the url or by doubleclicking.
