Without a schema ("http://") the paste has no visible action. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open an editor or console type "mozilla.org" 2. mark with mouse 3. open new tab, middle-click into empty space Actual Results: nothing visible Expected Results: Act as if "mozilla.org" + RETURN has been put into the address bar This is the standard behavior in 3.5.9, in 3.6.3 and in probably every release before.
