When you press enter, the search terms are deleted and there is no way to get back old search terms. There should be a history, just like in Firefox' search box. Reproducible: Always

Jens, I was tempted to change this to regression+normal because v3.1 is slightly regressive compared to v3.0 in that it deletes the previous search text. But then you'd have to file a new bug about providing history :) Do you want to file a new bug on that? xref bug 524741 comment 1, and the extension mentioned in bug 524741 comment 0
This is a great candidate for an extension, especially because there would likely need to be some experimentation involving how to best fuse the autocomplete with the historical search choices.
Umm? I _did_ file this bug on TB 3.1 already? Well, I did not specify a version, but my build identifier was a 3.1 one.
