Jens, I was tempted to change this to regression+normal because v3.1 is slightly regressive compared to v3.0 in that it deletes the previous search text. This is a great candidate for an extension, especially because there would likely need to be some experimentation involving how to best fuse the autocomplete with the historical search choices.
