The top row of the table, the header, is a bugzilla specific colour. The patch in the URL above will make the color customisable. We use a specific shade of blue in all our pages.

I wouldn't accept a patch that delved deep into the HTML; i would rather we hacked something like the proposed in bug 36013. However, this might touch what bug 86168 does. Are we going to do this for 2.16?

We are currently trying to wrap up Bugzilla 2.16. We are now close enough to release time that anything that wasn't already ranked at P1 isn't going to make the cut. Thus this is being retargetted at 2.18. If you strongly disagree with this retargetting, please comment, however, be aware that we only have about 2 weeks left to review and test anything at this point, and we intend to devote this time to the remaining bugs that were designated as release blockers.

Gerv, does your comment 4 indicate this should be wontfixed? The patch changes userprefs.cgi and edit*cgi + adds a param, but I think a parameter for customizing header colors for those is overkill, especially since those pages are going to be templatized one day, too... And then there is the CSS issue as well.

A param is definitely overkill. Templatisation is the correct fix for this bug, and other fixes will just cause compatibility and migration hassles. For something this trivial, it's not worth it. Gerv
