Using m18 on OS/2 4.0 with FP14, I had brought up a forms .html, then I saved it
to my hardfile. I then brought it up under the browser from my hardfile and
when it appeared I did a view source on the .html file. When I closed the view
source window, I got a trap with eip = 00000000.
I have recreated this problem by just opening the browser, doing a view source
on whatever page that loads (www.mozilla.org, most likely), then closing the
view source window. Once in a while this will close ok. If I then open another
file like my config.sys in the browser and then do a view source on it and then
close the view source window, it will trap. Seems to happen the first or second
time that I view source and then close the source window.
The call sequence leading to the trap is:
.
.
.
nsJSContext::Release
nsjsContext::~nsJSContext
js_ForceGC
js_GC
gc_finalize_phase
js_FinalizeObject
WrappedNative_Finalize
nsXPCWrappedNative::JSObjectFinalized
nsXPCWrappedNative::Release
nsXPCWrappedNative::~nsXPCWrappedNative
nsBrowserInstance::Release
nsBrowserInstance::~nsBrowserInstance
nsBrowserInstance::Close
nsBrowserInstance::GetContentAreaDocShell
nsBrowserInstance::ReinitializeContextVariables
TRAP because mDOMWindow->Get_Content is NULL

is this related to bug 53953? The summary and crashing are similar although it
was fixed on the main platforms...
