The sent mail has not saved for past two weeks. I tried to compact, rebuild, and delete sent.msf. No change. The "sent" file (no extension) is greater than 4GB. Have repeated the above measures with no change. Reproducible: Always
Is this a local folder (see 462665) or an imap folder (and then bug 532323) ?

Probably due to bug 387502. See also bug 462665.
So you'll need to copy some of the content from your current sent folder to another folder (and make sure to keep space there., then you should compact and rebuild).

Removing duplicate of bug 462665 to avoid misleading and confusion. Duping to bug 794303, because problem in Compact of larger than 4GB/near 4GB was nevr prcessed in bug 462665 and is processed in bug 794303.
