Bookmarks file of NC 4.x can't be imported properly if it contains Shift-JIS codes. It works fine if you add a charset specification in bookmarks file. <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=Shift_JIS"> This problem was observed with mozilla-i386-pcos2-vacpp-2000-10-27 and reported in Japanese Bugzilla. http://bugzilla.mozilla.gr.jp/show_bug.cgi?id=381
