When the add-on was downloaded from AMO (or really releases.mozilla.org) we should link to AMO's page about the add-on rather than the homepage.

Does bug 590344 include all themes as well as extensions in Add-ons Manager as details for themes is much more lacking than extensions as mentioned in duplicate bug 1221895
My bug was duped here, so here's the use case:
(Atoll R. Soderberg [:atoll, :rsoderberg] from bug 1494421 comment #0)
I'd like to tell my coworkers to install a developer tool that Mozilla released for general use in debugging video streams, but when I go to about:addons and inspect the extension, I was unable to find a link to its AMO page to copy-paste and share with my coworkers.

The author of an add-on should not be how you get to the AMO page of a recommended add-on. This is a 10 year old issue that has been around for many redesigns.

And clicking on reviews to get to the amo page of an installed extension is far from obvious

I just clicked on a link to a Firefox add-on that someone recommended and guess where it went? Reviews. Why of course.
