I can move tabs between different windows easily, just drag'n drop. I can even turn them into windows of their own.

With tab groups, I can move tabs between groups of my current window. But I cannot move tabs from a group in window A to a group in window B, if I have group management open in both windows. This means tab groups misses an feature that Fx offers without tab groups for ages.

It should be possible to do with tab groups everything you can do without it. That means moving tabs between windows, or moving whole groups between windows, and turning tabs or whole groups into windows of their own. This is the minimum feature set to make tab groups retain the current Fx feature status. Before adding new features to a new "system", the new system should at least reach the feature level of the old system, methinks.
