This action should open in a new tab instead of overwriting the current one, at least for app tabs (since we don't want those to be overwritten)
Well, since it seems I'm contradicting bug 371943, perhaps a tangential solution would be to unpin an app tab if you decide to report a forgery?
Makes sense to me.
