name_nsRootAcc_wnd.xul and docload_wnd.xul use gFindBarInitialized,
which is defined at /browser/base/content/browser.js line 112,

NB: Atm, SeaMonkey has bug 633725 too...

I would like to know whether we should fix SM code or test code (to support both app codes).

As far as I can tell, they don't actually use it, they only set it because Firefox tabbrowser expects it to exist, so there's nothing for us to do here.
