Allowing personas to customise Panorama is a visually good feature and allow user to be happy about Panorama. Moreover, this can by itself be another selling point for Firefox 4.

I meant that all the area in Panorama should behave like the Glass-enabled Titlebar & Tab Bar, that way they can allow personas to customise them(just like the title bar & Tab bar does right now). 

By the way, the mock-up is from Aza's blog, it was meant to be a Visual Styling Mock-up for Windows.

Yeah, it's nice the mockup, but if you specify an image for background for any Persona, it wouldn't be a very heavy image (i mean, slow to load from internet)? that Persona wouldn't be a lightweight theme, or not?

Please disregard my comment in comment 3 since Bug 591652 has enabled glass in panorama view, this bug is no longer about enabling glass any more. 

Allow Personas to customize panorama, Firefox could allow personas to appear on glass. Firefox could also allow personas to appear like the Nautipolis theme example.

Panorama has been removed from Firefox 45, currently in Beta and scheduled for release on March 7th. As such, I'm closing all existing Panorama bugs.

If you are still using Panorama, you will see a deprecation message in Firefox 44, and when 45 is released your tab group data will be migrated to bookmarks, with a folder for each group. There are also a few addons offering similar functionality.

We're removing Panorama because it has extremely low usage (about 0.01% of users), and has a large number of bugs and usability issues. The cost of fixing all those issues is far too high to justify, and so we'll instead be focusing our time and energy on improving other parts of Firefox.
