I do have a screenshot with a page showing the bug, but here I can't find a place to upload it.

Apparently, if the border is specified, the rounded corners appear.
As in:
input, select
{ -moz-border-radius:5px;
 -webkit-border-radius:5px;
 border-radius: 5px;
 border: solid 1px #00f}
This is an issue of border-radius not making us stop using the platform-native look for the widget.

And note, in particular, that "-moz-appearance: none" will make things work.
Thanks. Indeed, it solves the problem.
