Details |
If the network times out, and user hops over to addons manager and does an extension update check, the UI leaves a residual image from the SSL connection error. (use Captive portal to test this)
See screenshot
Repro:
1) install nightly maemo fennec: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux armv7l; en-US; rv:2.0b4pre) Gecko/201000908 Namoroka/4.04pre Fennec/2.0a1pre
2) log into captive portal (or simulate a SSL network timeout)
3) open prefs > addons manager and click Update
4) Verify SSL network timeout error overlays the addons manager screen with the Search options.
expected:
- SSL network timeout error should not leave residual images like the screenshot of the search options. INstead, it should have the SSL connection dialog window.

essentially a dupe of bug 566478 because we don't want this dialog anyway.
