Details

(I'm not sure if this component is the right place for this) I've been having what appear to be rendering issues with many pages for the past couple of days. It started happening sometime between Friday, September 3rd and Thursday, September 9th. Many pages, bugs for example, usually require a reload before they render correctly. For example: Before: http://people.mozilla.org/~bhearsum/misc/before.png After: http://people.mozilla.org/~bhearsum/misc/after.png
That looks like the stylesheet wasn't loaded correctly. Which sounds like cache corruption to me (which is why a reload would help). I've also been seeing a bunch of cache corruption issues recently... Clearing the cache helps for a bit, then problems start reappearing.

Michal, can you have a look at this. I think we need to understand this before we ship Firefox 4.

I've seen this same issue as well but it seems to me it's been happening longer than the last week. It doesn't happen often but it does occur. BUILD: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0b6pre) Gecko/20100910 Firefox/4.0b6pre ID:20100910141259 ~B
This is likely related to bug 596443.
(In reply to comment #0) > Many pages, bugs for example, usually require a reload before they render correctly. Which reload do you mean? Normal reload or hard reload which bypasses the cache? If hard reload is needed then I think that this could be dupe of #604880.
IIRC this needed a hard reload. I haven't hit this in awhile though.
Per discussion with Michal this is a dupe of bug 604880.
