Doing a search in history bar (ctrl+h) my FF freeze completely by 45s (in average) , Windows ask for stop the application or wait.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl+h to open history panel
2. In search field write "software" 
3. FF hangs for log time
4. Windows ask for cancel process
Actual Results:  
FF freeze

Expected Results:  
Search running in parallel with the main navigation Window

My places.sqlite file has 26 MB.

Bug 491746 is related and it seems to be a known problem, but strangely I couldn't find an exact duplicate...

I have the same problem in any of the FF 4 beta.  I just downloaded the RC and it freezes whenever I use ANY search engine.  This problem does not exist if I use FF 3.6.
