Command key shortcuts do not function unless Thunderbird is in Safe Mode or the shortcut is selected from any pulldown menu.
Once the Thunderbird window is closed or 'Quit' Thunderbird I need to choose any cmd key from a pulldown menu to reactivate the cmd key control.
I'm still running OS 10.5.8 on my Mac. Is this an issue with the Thunderbird 'cmd' key shortcuts?
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select 'cmd+' to zoom in to a message body. Nothing happens.
2.Select View>Zoom>Zoom In 'cmd+'. Text size increases.
3.
Actual Results:
This only works until the Thunderbird window is closed or 'Quit' Thunderbird.
To reactivate the 'cmd' key shortcuts I need to choose any cmd key from a pulldown menu.
Expected Results:
The 'cmd' key shortcuts should response as they did in the previous version of Thunderbird (2.x).

I uninstalled Lightening 1.0 and installed Google Calendar to replace Lightening.
Used Thunderbird less than one hour after installation, all functions appear to be working.
