Problems with scrolling the 'Bookmarks' menu

My bookmarks menu, being long, has arrows at top and bottom to allow you to
scroll it. But it doesn't seem to always scroll all the way to the bottom. I
even seen cases where the bottom arrow doesn't show up (or else it's behind the
Windows taskbar). Also, once you scroll it, the bookmarks menu remains scrolled
the next time you open it. I imagine that's a 'feature', but it's kind of
awkward.
Is there a reason not to have the menu wrap to a second column like in NS4.7?
Is that not possible in a cross-platform way?

Nothing like this under GNOME.. I've got an usual side-scrollbars
Michael Stoloviztsky: If you have a side scrollbar in bookmarks, you are using a
very old version of mozilla. It was modified to the one reporter describes
several months ago.

Because of the lack of update from the reporter, I am dupping this bug. Please
reopen if you feel it's not right.
You may want to file a new request for enhancement (using Bug Helper) to have
menus wrap in a second column, if that's what you want, but this bug is not
about that. Please include only one issue per bug. Thanks,
Fabian.
