STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Load https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ 2. Press "tab" key a few times, until a link is focused (taking up most of your URL bar with its preview) 3. Mouse over another link (replacing the preview in URL bar), and then move the mouse cursor completely out of the window (clearing the preview in the URL bar) ---> NOTE: Now there's no preview in URL bar. There's only my current URL. 4. Press Ctrl+T to open a new tab. 5. Press Ctrl+W to close that new tab and return to the bugzilla tab. EXPECTED RESULTS: There should be no link-preview in the URL bar. (that is, the appearance should match our appearance after step 3 -- the last time we were viewing this tab.) ACTUAL RESULTS: There is a link-preview in the URL bar! For me, this is particularly annoying when I'm quickly cycling through tabs, watching the URL bars to look for a particular URL that I have open somewhere. If any of my tabs have links focused (with a long URL), this bug breaks that use-case.
Ah, looks like this is basically a dupe of bug 596698.
