MODULE: firefox/testSecurity/testSecurityInfoViaPadlock.js
TEST: testSecurityInfoViaPadlock
FAIL: could not find element ID: security-button
BRANCH: default
In bug 574688, the status bar was replaced with the add-on bar. Like the removal of the test in bug 599848, this test should be removed too.

Comment on attachment 479045 [details] [diff] [review]
Patch v1 - (default) [deleted test]
Anthony, I would like to have a review from your first. Would be good to know which direction we want to go with this test regarding the existing Litmus test. Has that one be updated or disabled? Do we have other tests which cover the page info dialogs security pane?

Firefox 4 FFT:[security] Page Info Security Tab via status bar padlock
https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=10194
Firefox 4 FFT: [security:larry] "More Information" button
https://litmus.mozilla.org/show_test.cgi?id=11322
So, we have 2 tests which test the Page Info:Security dialog. This Mozmill test tests the first path, which has been removed. We should reuse the code from this test for the More Information test.
We need to do the following before I r+ this patch:
1. Disable the test in Litmus [ashughes]
2. File a bug to create the "More Information" button test [aaronmt]
3. Attach testSecurityInfoViaPadlock.js to the bug so the code can be reused [aaronmt]
Does this sound right?

Sounds ok to me but move the work needed for the more information button test to October. For now simply delete the Mozmill test and do steps 1-3. For step 3 a link to the changeset would be enough.

Aaron, please go forward and remove this test from the repository.

Don't have commit (I think it makes sense for me to get it now, I'll inquiry this week), but I'll change review to you.
