I've reported before (see #598594) that I cannot switch my pre-release FF to update from beta/release channel. That time problem was with the way I tried to change the channel used.
But now I've installed the Update Channel Selector extension on another portable FF installation, 3.6.8pre, switched update channel to "beta", restarted FF and clicked on "Search for updates" menu item. And it told me it can find no updates (there was notice that beta channel was used in the message window). Well, said I and switched the update channel to "release", restarted FF and told it to search for updates - and it found nothing using release channel!
That just can't be true, since there are 3.6.8, 3.6.9 and 3.6.10 releases that should be there. But I still cannot update my pre-release FF to release version. Please help me!
Reproducible: Always
