The web console persists entries across reload, which is fine. But it also has no reasonable way to clear it that I can see. Closing and reopening it clears, but it's not clear to me whether this is an accident or on purpose, and it's definitely not discoverable.

Note that apparently there's a context menu option (mentioned in bug 596299) and a proposed keyboard shortcut. Neither of those is discoverable either.

I'll take blame for this one: I removed the Clear icon because I couldn't think of an aesthetically pleasing place to put it that wouldn't upset the balance of the UI. Agreed with ddahl, usability should trump aesthetics.
Still need a good place to put the button though.
