The new add-ons manager on all operating systems has an advanced menu in the top right, next to the search box. This menu is opened by clicking a button with an icon on it. The options that it provides relate to all add-ons, not just the ones open in the right pane. The contents of the drop-down menu are: • Check for Updates • View Recent Updates • Install Add-on From File... • Update Add-ons Automatically • Reset All Add-ons to Update Automatically For mock-ups, a gear icon has been used. A gear icon may be appropriate for OSX, because the menu is similar in functionality to the standard “gear menu” in all OSX Finder windows. The only difference is that the OSX gear menu only affects the currently open window, while the gear menu in the add-ons manager would effect all of the user’s add-ons. The icon should be: • In .png format • Sized 15 pixels x 15 pixels • Match the current colorscheme of the add-ons manager and in-content pages: For Linux, there may be an already-included icon that could serve this purpose.
