Even though I try to send photos only as file attachments, I am receiving more emails all the time with many inline images, many or all of which I would like to save as individual files, typically as jpegs. It is possible to save inline images one-at-a-time with right-click and Save Image As. But the only better way I have found to save multiple inline images is View > Message Body As > Plain Text, so that inline images are shown as individual files in the lower half of the split window, then to right-click in an open space in that lower half and Save All. Alternatively, in the Original HTML View, it is possible to highlight the entire message from top to bottom, however long that takes, then right-click in an open area distinct from any of the highlighted images, then Save All. Because of the apparent increase in the usage of multiple inline images instead of file attachments, it would be good to simplify this process to an "Inline Images" option in the File menu similar to "Attachments" and have some options under that, or just a "Save All Inline Images" option under the File menu. Generally, there is a need for more intuitive ways to manage inline images. Thank you.

File > Save All Inline Images > [select location to save files] > OK
The functionality to use "Save All" from the Plain Text view does no longer
apply after bug 351224 checked in. The alternative approach from Original HTML you mention doesn't work per your statement and my testing as discussed in http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?p=10077659#p10077659 .
I agree with your request to add a discoverable option to save all inlined content of a message in a single step. This is what bug 602718 tries to achieve as well, thus I'm marking your bug as a duplicate of that one.
